Like the chances of MOMETZ (8) who has started twice and finished in the minors both times. Looks suited at the longer trip and with the blinkers added expected to go close. USIR (11) has only had a few starts as well and is coming back in trip after finishing fourth here last time over 2000m. Further improved and will appreciate a strong early tempo. SOUTH POLE (6) was fourth two back then placed last time beaten less than a length. Aided by the extra ground and will be parked off the speed and wind up late. TOWER OF TUSCANY (7) ran on well to finish runner-up latest in a much better effort. Fitter for three runs in and no surprise to see him go one better. HE JUST GOES (4) was safely held fresh but will strip far fitter and the extra trip is a big plus. Expected to improve sharply.
