MY LUNA (12) impressed when beaten 1.4L at Bendigo after a slow start, but she was outgraded in town following. She's going to give away a start but strips fitter and the step up to the mile is ideal. RING THE SHERIFF (4) needed the outing here first up over this distance. He'd come off a comfortable mile win at Echuca in Maidens, and that effort would have him right in it. SO GRAND (14) is a border hopper who went close at Mt Gambier two weeks ago. With average luck in running, she can make the finish. SEA DANGER (10) has a key jockey switch to Yendall, suggesting she's going to improve. The late betting should tell the story.
