DANCING DOLLY (3) is a promising filly who has had a stop-start beginning to her career. Three campaigns to date have yielded four minor placings from as many runs, including a good effort to finish second after racing wide first-up last prep at Bendigo. Trialled well recently and looks the testing material. GROUSE MOUNTAIN (1) recorded her seventh minor placing from nine appearances when she led but found one better over 1000m at Ballarat ten days ago. Untried at this distance and has a wide alley to contend with but is racing too well to rule out. Waterhouse/Bott switch SHIVERMEPINK (7) south after a couple of decent efforts at the NSW provincials this time in work. Will lead and give them something to run down. ROYAL EGYPTIAN (6) was $81.00 but finished just three lengths away on debut last start over 1200m at Echuca. Worth some thought with the shades coming off. Debutante STREET LARK (10) is from a family of winners and looks set to run well following a Pakenham jump-out win.
