FOLLOW CHARLIE needs to dispel a lesser effort at Kelso but a return to this venue (both wins gained over C&D) rates an obvious plus with the cheekpieces now reached for and he's given a chance to bounce back. Ruby Island promises to be suited by the step back up in trip and she's feared. Gordon Elliott's Timmy Tuesday on handicap debut is another to note.

VerdictFairly useful in bumpers and won first 2 starts over hurdles in 2022/23. Very lightly raced since but didn't shape badly with a view to stepping back up in trip for new stable when third of 8 in handicap hurdle at Doncaster (16.6f) 39 days ago. Worth a second look.

VerdictFairly useful over hurdles and fences in France, winning a claiming chase in March. Too keen when remote third in 2¾m Kelso novice hurdle on British debut 73 days ago but that should have knocked some of the freshness out of him. Refitting of a hood can also help in that regard.
