Sitting out rules

Standard practice is for players to take up their seat at the game they choose to play. There is a limit of two seating attempts without playing per table during any six-hour period.

At tables with more than two seats:

  • We accept that, in some situations, players may sit down at a table without playing a game. It could be, for example, if they want to help open a new cash table and don’t want to play heads-up.
  • Players can't skip hands while waiting for one or more specific opponents. This is especially true if the game is active.
  • We expect players to take part in all the games on a rotation when seated at Mixed Game tables. Don't take extra steps to avoid playing specific games from the rotation. You can take breaks more often when less preferred games are being dealt. It's also OK to join a game when there's a favorite game happening. What we don't allow is players avoiding (a) specific game(s).

We expect that seated players take action much more often than they refuse it. Players who break the rules may lose access to our games temporarily or permanently.
